Note from Adrianne: Nursing Uncensored is all about sharing experiences and learning from the collective knowledge of our fellow nurses. So today we're going to open the conversation on racism. This is a hard topic and I am learning. I want you to approach this with love and an open mind.

Note from Adrianne: Nursing Uncensored is all about sharing experiences and learning from the collective knowledge of our fellow nurses. So today we're going to open the conversation on racism. This is a hard topic and I am learning. I want you to approach this with love and an open mind.

In this episode, Adrianne welcomes fellow podcaster and nurse, Rosa Dominguez Horsley, a Puerto Rican nurse living in Virginia. Many thanks to Rosa for opening up about her experiences as a woman of color and a nurse in the United States. She discusses being the child of immigrant parents and how systemic racism affected her childhood and identity, how she handles racism and insensitivity at the bedside, and actions we can take to dismantle racism in nursing.

Thanks again to Rosa for helping us continue this conversation.

BLACK LIVES MATTER.
